Golf Dome Academy - Camps

• Must book in advance & prices do not include HST
• Lunch break from 12:30pm - 1:00pm and a snack break in the morning and afternoon. Lunch and snacks are not provided.
  
• The object of this camp is to provide a FUN learning environment geared to the ability of the Junior golfer. For some this will be an introduction to a new sport and for others an opportunity to continue in the development of their skills.
  
• Each day will consist of time dedicated to both Golf Instruction and Golf PLAY.
  
  • Spend time working on the various elements of the Golf Swing, Irons, Woods, Putting, Chipping, & Pitching.
    
  • Play Target GOLF
    
  • Will have Putting, Chipping and short PAR 3 competitions.
    
  • Will be covering the Rules of GOLF, Etiquette, Golf History and most importantly how golf is played with a Focus on FUN!!
    

Beginner and Intermediate Golf Instruction

Ryan is offering two different levels of golf instruction, a beginner level (Level 1) and an Intermediate level (Level 2) as described below.

Level 1 Golf Instruction
  Basic Fundamentals:

• Grip, Stance, Posture, Ball Position, Alignment, Head Position, Upper Body Turn, and Weight Transfer.
• Utilizing both Woods and Irons.

  Putting:

• Short putts, Lag Putting, Reading greens. Adjusting Alignment for reads.
  

  Chipping:

• Using different clubs for different scenarios. Bump and run. Lofted.

   Pitching:

• Controls different distances and trajectories to meet situations.

   Bunkers:

• Both Long and Short Bunker shorts.
  

   How to play a game of golf.

• General information on how one would approach and execute a round of golf.
  

Level 2 Golf Instruction

  Starts with a refresher of Level 1 with the addition of the following:

• Directional Control
• Trajectory Control
• Course Management
• Rules and Etiquette
• Club Fitting and Analysis
• Mental Game and Strategies

Learning golf is FUN and it is healthy at the same time!

The focus of this special golf camp is to encourage socializing and having FUN with other people of the same age and ability, while introducing age specific methods to help you with the game. This program is perfect for the absolute beginner, or the person who has played before but feels they would enjoy golf much more if they had some guidance and instruction. Attend the classes on the same day and time each week for three consecutive weeks.

Level 1 is an introductory program for those who have never touched a golf club or have played maybe 5 times with very little knowledge of the sport. This program starts with the basics and serves as an introduction/review of core fundamentals such as fitness, equipment, and full swing techniques.

Level 2 is designed for people who have a good understanding of the basics of golf and want to take their game to the next level.

This five-session program is designed for the different needs of golfers 55 years and older. You will have the privilege to learn the game of golf under the professional instruction of Class A CPGA Golf Professional Ryan Kingston.

The focus of this golf camp is all about having FUN and making you feel comfortable with your golf swing. You will be with a group of other ladies that have the same interests and challenges with their game as you have with yours. You will have the privilege to learn the game of golf under the professional instruction of Class A CPGA Golf Professional Ryan Kingston.

You can feel comfortable that this program will be customized to your level of ability and experience; no one will be left behind. Whether you are an absolute beginner or the person who has played before you will enjoy spending the time with the other ladies and with Ryan.

The program will start with the basics and will serve as an introduction/review of core fundamentals, equipment, and full swing techniques. Attend one of the classes on the same day and time each week for five consecutive weeks.

This program is designed as an introduction to the sport of golf with the main focus on FUN. Each week we will explore different elements ot the game is a FUN interactive environment.

The intended market for this group are children under 8 years of age and we ask that they are accompanied by an adult.

To make it convenient for the parents we are offering this program at 2 different times per week.

The cost of the program is $20 per week.
